The bugs had as much fun turning this as I did! Lost a lot of the bug poo turning so I picked out the remainder. Hard Maple 9 1/2" X 3" mineral oil only. With all the holes I don't even want to try buffing it! Strange thing is the bottom half of this log was heavily spalted with no punky wood. The upper half (this is from the upper) had no spalting but a lot of staining. Go figure?!...Bill...
