This was my first full shop setup. Lesson's learned include....

5 gallon pails for chip knockout suck. Will be replacing with a 30 gallon can and lid.

Drop electrical between the jointer and table saw. Having a single outlet that you have to plug and replug is annoying. Will be running new electrical line and conduit.

Drop dust collection hoses between the jointer and table saw. Having one drop from the side wall is annoying. The hoses get in the way when connected AND it's annoying to have to connect, disconnect, and reconnect the different hoses. Will be running new hose and piping.

6 spots on the subpanel will not be enough in the long run. It's a minor change, but annoying. But I see it coming.

That's it so far. I took a lot of time doing the design and layout, so these are only minor annoyances...

Oh yeah.....next time I'll knock down the double car garage and build a four car garage...that will not hold any cars. :-D
