Any success with Hematite

Has anyone had any success engraving Hematite. I have searched the forum with minimal results. Any tips would be really helpful (some photo's would be awesome.)

Way back when I first got my laser I was in full 'geewhizz' mode, and lasered everything but the cat!! I visited a local rock shop, told them what I was doing, and they gave me all kinds of samples. Hematite was one of them.. Hematite etches to a 'bubbled' ..Kind of weird.. There are a couple of pictures.. This was a very small area, a larger graphic would have came out nice.. There is also a surface closeup.. This was about 4 years ago, and can't remember what settings I used..
