I am calling this bowl "Butter cup" because it resembles the flower by that name. Approximately 16 inches diameter. :)

Dennis - that is a great looking bowl. The size of your picture needs to be reduced as it gets way too big and it's not clear

Where in the world did you get a hunk of Osage Orange like that?? Nice work! I think the natural edge makes the bowl. Very good design choice. I really like the form. How thick is it?
As said already, the pic you have posted it very grainy and pixelated.
Awesome job!

Really nice work! Technically , it looks like you did a beautiful job. Like a lot of folks on SMC, I have turned Osage before. It's tough. To turn a blank that large is quite an accomplishment. It's one of the nicest bowls I've seen posted since I joined a few months ago.

Now that is a beautiful bowl. I especially like the bumpy live edge!!!!!!!! Very very nice. That had to be a heavy beast lifting it on the lathe if it was green!!

That's one stunning piece of wood, and the natural edge and shape really sets this piece off, nice work.
