Amazon has this 3 1/4 HP router listed at $122.35 right now. Does anybody own this router, or know anything about it? I am thinking it would be a great upgrade to my router table. Is this a deal, or something to pass on?

Does it have a built in dust collection port? If so, how well does it work (in case I ever take it out of the table)?

Another question I am curious about. Is the throat big enough to handle large bits if I put it in a table?

I'm watching this one! I could use a big router in the table.

This is a strong router with a handy plunger....it's a little big for handuse but it works. It's a very tough deal to beat dollar for dollar IMO. There is a plastic dust chute for it...it works well but the chute is a little fragile if you whack on something. The size of the throat opening was my only real complaint for this router and the red FT2200 version. It's less than 3" and won't pass the bigger bits. There are work arounds like nibbling in from the side that aren't overly cumbersome but it's a quirk that never should have existed, and has been remedied in the FT3000 (and smaller FT1700) ....I believe the Hitachi M12V has a similar issue. The openings can be enlarged if your up to the task.

I caught a FT2200 EPK on sale last month for $132.00 but it did not include the case. I have not been able to find the differences between the two routers and my 2200 has worked flawlessly and has been a great addition to my shop. For the price difference, I wish I had gotten the 2000 (less $ and includes a case).
