Makita LS1010 sticking---

Have any of you experienced this? My LS1010 slider sticks when fully pulled forward and requires a fairly hard knock to break it free to slide/cut going back. I have tried various lubes, lots of cleaning but no success. Really a pain to use. Any suggestions?

That does not sound normal to me. The slides should not stick at all.

Sounds like you might have the slide lock partially engaged.
