Hi,

I drove all the way to Ventura (90 miles) today to pick up my new 8" Grizzly 3HP 220v jointer. This machine was loved! There is no rust at all. His garage is a jig paradise, he must have 100 home made jigs!

The only reason he sold is that SWMBO bought a new car and she needed room to park it.

It does not have a model #, but the original owners manual was printed in '83. The knives look great, and the tables and fence work very smoothly.

I paid a little more ($350) than I would have liked, but this thing is cherry.

Thanks for the encouragement to get 'old iron', I have become a disciple.

Tomorrow I will be making a 220v circuit, and I hope some sawdust.:D

Now with pictures!

see below.

Nice catch, Carl.. Have fun getting it up and on parr. A good shot of Geritol and a little sweat should take you there. :)
