It seems that there is enough interest in a pen exchange so if you want participate, enter your name below.

The Rules:

The entry period will be open until Sunday, April 20. Names will be drawn by a "disinterested" party to determine who would be paired up with whom. Entrants can choose any type of pen, of any material, and apply any finish as long as you use your lathe. There will certainly be different skill level participating, so if you can't accept any type of pen turned by someone else at their discretion, don't enter. It will be the responsibility of the two parties to exchange addresses for the delivery of the pen. SMC will not in any way be responsible.

When the pens are ready for delivery, entrants will use PMs or emails to exchange address information. You are encouraged to post a picture of the finished pen for others to see your creativity.

Please – If you can’t deliver on your commitment, then don’t enter. Apparently there were some that entered the Ornament exchange and never came through. If a problem arises, contact your pen-partner and let them know. So if you want to participate, enter your name below mine.

Try to have your pens completed by the end of May, but you can work that out with your trading partner. Let’s have some fun!

I heartily agree. I've done exchanges (on other forums) with people from Wales, Queensland and Western Australia--and gotten not only some nice pens, but some really great pen blanks.

I put up a new thread on my danish forum, and wow... more or less everybody pitched in with stuff and ideas... so im thinking if more of you are interested in an exchange of pens/blanks of interesting stuff.. i could facilitate from here to my danish forum. Lets say same conditions as this penexchange ??

Tha Tha That's it folks.

The registration period has concluded.

All those whose names appear in the first post herein are duly appointed victims of the exchange.

Your first task is to send me $1000 and I will exchange the favor with a hearty Thanks.

I wish!

I'm sure Greg will remind us of what we're really supposed to do now. He'd better. because I forget.
