I need to clean the HVAC condenser units outside my house. How should I go about doing this? Pressure washer? Cleaning agents? etc. I have three of them so don't make it too difficult ----- PLEASE! Thanks.

Power off.
Cover motor with a plastic bag and tape.
Then spray the day lights out of it with a garden hose from the inside out.
Stiff brush and dish soap can help to.
A little fin comb is a good investment to straighten all the bent and flatted spots.
Too much juice from a presure washer can do damage.

Just use a garden hose. You may not have to wash it from the inside out, only if the condenser unit is badly clogged. I wash my units every spring and just spray the outside. I don't cover the motors either. They don't get covered when it rains so I figure it's not necessary during the washing. I've not had any problems. (That is, since a few years ago when a unit quit and I called a repairman and paid 50 bucks to learn to wash the condensers)
