What would be a good overall set of bandsaw blades?
Width and Tpi?

Thanks

Bob

Depends on a lot of things, such as BS size, and wood type and thickness, type of cut etc ...

This should help:

Bob... I find that with 14" saws, I use 1/8"~14tpi, 1/4"~4tpi, 3/4"~3tpi. I use the 1/8" for tight turns, the 1/4" for general use and the 3/4" for resawing. A 1/2" 3tpi works well for resawing also, and is easier to get on and off the saw without twisting.

Simple, call suffolk machinery, tell'em what you want to cut, they'll give you the right blade. These are good quality blades at honest prices. I just use'm, not part of the company.

Following the advice of a fellow creeker, I've started removing the BS table when changing blades. Makes it a breeze to do and the table removal is simple and fast. At least that's the case with the Grizzly G0555X

I agree with the other posters, too. The Timberwolf blades are excellent value.

When I called to order the blades, I told him I didn't know what I was doing. The person I spoke to helped me make sure I had a good array. At the time it was buy 3 get 1 free.
