I'd like to get an air body saw. Harbor Freight has one. The only consumption listed is 6 cfm with no psi rating. My compressor is 4.2@90. It doesn't state what psi so can I run this? I'd like to use this to cut 6" ASTM 2729 PVC sewer pipe (thin wall) and carving on wood turnings.

Will my compressor handle this?

Thanks,
Burt

I bet it will if its not continuous use. My dad's old craftsman portable used to push one fine, compressor ran a bit but we never pushed it for hours. He used it to cut steel angle iron occasionally.

I would like one of these as well. How much is it?

Mike,
There're on sale now for $19.95. The site shows 2 models but I can't tell the difference between the two. Same price for both.

I have one and it does use quite a bit of air. My compressor is rated at 5.7/90psi and it wasn't too bad. You should be OK.
