There are a lot of great signature blocks out there. I was almost rolling on the floor last night laughing at this first one, and it gave me the idea for the thread. (I was thinking about using one of these at my office, but they'd never understand.)

"Grady - 'Thelma, we found Dean's finger.'
Thelma - Where is the rest of him?!"
(creeker Alex Grams)

"Never Raise your hands to your children, it leaves your groin unprotected. - Red Buttons"
(creeker Jim Becker)

"Notice that at no time do my fingers leave my hand."
(FWW knotter - ctsjr82)

My grandfather ran a cabinet shop since WWII when he got out. HE got a few fingers lopped off on a jointer one day, and one fell in the pile of sawdust, they couldn't find it, so he went ahead and went to the ER. When the workers finally found it, they didn't know who to call, so they called his wife, who had no clue about what was going on, and said ' Thelma, we found Dean's finger', and her only response was 'where is the rest of him?'

My grandfather said he was never the same after the day he lost one of his middle fingers

He also nibbled away the underside to two other fingers on a Tablesaw, and the doctor said he would sew them up, but would have limited movement in them, so he asked if he wanted them straight or curved, and my grandpa's response was 'Make em curved, so i can hold a beer and a fishing rod'.

I learned a lot from that old man, hard to believe he is gone sometimes. He let me use my first powertool :)
