For a couple years I have heard through the grape vine that my uncle wished he had a "Marleyturned" bowl.
So, in between several trips the last couple months I have been working on a gift bowl for him. It is Titled "Terry's Bowl".
My wife doesn't want to part with it, Hope he feels the same way too.

Larry , As others have said before, its an impressive piece design and colours.

I wish I had the patience to do a segmented piece!

Larry,
Great bowl, good picture, and of your photo setup. See, Steve, did not have to pester Larry for photo setup.

Larry, Steve sent me this link to some cool backdrop material, modestly priced, especially for the smaller sizes, http://www.phototechinc.com/graduate.htm (http://www.phototechinc.com/graduate.htm).

But what kind of lights are those on the sides?

There sure are a lot of little pieces in that feature ring! Very nice job. I have enjoyed looking at your website several times.

Richard,
that set up is "photo studio in a box" got it at walmart. came with the two lights and a small tripod. I thought I spent about $45 for it. (I may be in denial)
they have one for $78 on their web site. looks like a better tripod..?
the background is reversible, blue or gray. I Like the idea of a varitone background. this booth is best for smaller pieces.

Dennis, I can get you the plans, such as they are. They will give segment dimensions but no detail on the feature ring. That's what Malcolm's book is for.... There are some photos showing some of the steps on my website in the "news and current events" section.

I am on another Larry across America tour this week. I will try to remember this weekend to convert them.
