The plan was in Wood Magazine about a month or two ago.

Your effort was worth its a nice piece, and unusual for my side of the pond and have not seen that design or similar before.

Living on the other side of the pond makes keeping all the mags pretty expensive.. so if anybody has plans for making this i would much appriciate it :-)

Great looking holder Jon. I have made a bunch as they are pretty popular with the salt/pepper grinders especially if they match.

That is really nice. I am in the process of making one but had to order a couple of tools to do it, like a drill chuck for the lathe.

The article is in March 2008 Wood magazine. They had a real good 3 part video on their website on how to make it. I watched it last week but can't find it now.

These are such cool projects. Good job, and the contrast between body and finial is really nice.
