Remember this Outfeed support for my planer?

Here it is after some refinement, slots and knobs, set up at the end of my table saw.

And the new Infeed support for the table saw. It attaches to the table saw with 2 1/4 inch bolts and washers and wing nuts.

Infeed support, table outfeed extension and outfeed support all set up to rip some plywood.

And as this is the first time I have tried drilling holes for shelve brkts, I needed a way to get the holes spaced right. The salvage pile yielded a piece of hardboard pegboard. Used some bolts to postion a scrape piece of plywood to it so I could fasten it with screws.

Notice the high tech drill stop. LOL

Nice addition Harry. I too have used a similar device (tape) for a drill stop.

I have to ask, is that Z Brick on the front of that box in the 4th and 5th picture? We had some in our home, well just say it was a long time ago. I had to tear it all out and make nice for wallpaper.

I have no idea what it is Jim, it was some paneling samples the neighbor store across the alley was throwing out, it is hardboard I think they call it on the back, Just some salvaged stuff that I drug home to use for things like the cutoffs box, cheaper than buying plywood or other material, I use a lot of salvaged stuff, packing boxes, crates. custom pallets. Dumpster diving I guess its called. A friend wanted something real cheap and unusual for a basement rec area that could be tossed out if it got wet or damp, so I went over to the same neighbor and got a half a pickup load of old carpet samples and we laid them like tile, all different colors and designs, the edges are all hemed so no fraying, really looked quite nice and it was all free. LOL

The drill stop is the handle from a foam brush, I keep small empty food cans with scrap dowel stuff with each size of center hole in a different can and cut to different lengths, just one or a selection of different lengths on the bit, adjust to the stick out I want and tighten the drill chuck. they don't slip and after the first hole the swarf locks them on the bit.

Nice dust collector system. What ever doesn't fit in the cardboard box goes to the little box.

Fun aside. Nice update on the support.

I have a shelf pin jig JUST like that ... works like a charm.

Nice job with the in/out feed support solutions ... thanks again for sharing.

Not sure why there is not more talk of infeed supports around here. I have one that I install in occasion and it really helps.

Nicely done.
