Finally got the tent setup and took a few pics (actually my 8 y.o. took them) of some more Arky Ash NE's. No finish on them, just sanded thru 800 then buffed with all 3 wheels.

This one is a little less than 1/2 thick, 11" x 9" and 4" at tips.
Sorry about the pic....just noticed i didn't crop the bottom http://truetotru.com/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif

This one is 10 1/4" x 8" and 4 3/4 at the tallest tip. I got this one down to 3/16" walls. I've also concluded I like the thicker ones better.

And here's the pair together.

Good job, I like the thickness on the 2nd one better than the first, but customers will probably like the first one the best.

Barry, those are wonderful looking pieces. Ditto on Glenn's comment about the wall thickness.

Good looking stuff Barry! Interesting point about the wall thickness. I think the bark on the thicker piece looks more interesting, but hard to tell from pictures. Probably most folks favor thinner.

Great looking bowls Barry! Interesting how the thickness can change the entire look of a piece. Both are very nice bowls but I do think I like the flow ofthe second (thinner) bowl just a little more. Nice work and let your 8 year old know - great photos!
