Does any one know how to determine the payback between two heating systems? One system I'm looking at has a heating capacity of 48,300 BTUH at a C.O.P. of 5.1 The other unit has 48,150 BTUH at 4.3 C.O.P. If the unit is running say 25% of the time for a period of 5 to 5.5 months with an electrical cost of say $0.07 per kwh. Is there a formula or some place where I can determine the payback?
