Does anyone sell a router bit for doing jack miters? Everything I've read always seems to suggest that you have to take a regular chamfer bit, remove the bearing and grind off the post. Has anyone ever run across a bit made specifically made for this purpose?
Thanks.

Thanks Per!
I really enjoyed those links.
Jack miters are a new joint on me. Very nice lesson and sign of all-too-uncommon-these-days craftsmanship!
As Gus Stickley put on the cover of his 'Craftsman' mag, "the lyf so short, the craft so long to lerne"
Rare treat to be shown a new-to-me wood joint that is also useful,
not just some fancy but worthless dreck.
take care,
Walt

Thanks Walt,
Now the truth of the matter,
If you are doing a small job, window mullions come to mind.
With a little bit of practice, there is no reason to go and
spend a million dollars in equipment and Man hours when
this little gadget works quite nicely.

Thanks, Per. That's just what I was looking for. I have a couple of those "little gadgets", also. ;)
