View Full Version : Box Elder and Koa lidded bowl

I guess you'd call this a lidded bowl or lidded vessel. It's Box Elder Burl and Koa. The bowl and lid are box elder, the rim of the lid and the base of the finial are segmented koa, the finial is a small piece of burl and koa. It's 6.5" tall by 6" diameter, finished with danish oil.

Wow Curt that is beautiful. I really like the accent wood and what you did with it. Finial is really nice. Well done.

Wow Curt - you sure create some impressive turnings! Beautiful woods, great design idea and love the different colors! I really like the way the finial almost copies the shape of the vessel! Absolutely beautiful work!!!
