Wooden supercar

Did anyone of you see the amazing work a student is doing with wood? Actually he is building a supercar out of wood as much as possible.

That's certainly among the most far out concepts I've come across in my lifetime.

Most amazing to me are the wooden wheels. Somehow, they managed to make them strong as well as beautiful. In fact, those are the most beautiful custom wheels I've ever seen. The rest of the car will likely not have any kind of future market. The wheels, however, would likely be quite popular with hot-rodders.

Away from the woodworking part of it is the engine. It's a Caddy Northstar with the flow reversed on the heads. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more far out...
