Seems like there would be a market for after-market router bases with integrated dust collection ports. I don't mean the sub-base, I'm talking about the entire base with handles and everything. Maybe even a "universal" base with different "adapters" for different routers.

Hmm... too bad I don't have money for a patent attorney! :rolleyes:

I have a router like that, wonder if you can buy that base and what it costs? Have been scratching my head about how to collect the dust.

my dewalt plunge router has a dust collection port but ive never tried it out
