Does anyone else have a problem with the terimite tool catching and catching really bad sometimes? I was using one on a peice of lambeam and it took out a chunk the size of the cutter hole.:o

If you do it the way it says in the booklet it doesn't catch. Smoothest cut I've ever made.:D

As Rick said follow the booklet. I have never had a catch with it.

the school doesnt have the booklet anymore, i tried it with the chip gaurd thing on, limiting the cut at different amounts, i tried it without the chip gaurd restricter thing and it worked until it had a big catch then i abandoned it

Herm DeVries has a good tutorial on using the Termite.
Use this link:

Got to Tools and Tips on the left of the page.
When that page comes up, scroll down until you get to the Termite section.
In the text is a link for instructions on using the Termite.
