Just a little hollow form.

Box Elder, 3"H x 3-3/4"W. Sanded 'til I got tired of sanding, finished with Seal-A-Cell, and buffified.

Glad to see you made up with your lathe there Neal.;)

Nice work as always. You got some really good natural talent at the lathe Neal.

You could be like me, and just blow up about 99.9% of everything you put on it.http://www.33smiley.com/smiley5/humor/4.gif

Beautiful hollow form Neal! Love the wood, the rich color and the finish! Also think the photo is great! Excellent positioning of the form and great lighting! Really like the soft shadows!

Glad to see you turning again! Was afraid you had given it up for a career in photography!

That is one nice looking piece of wood!! I don't think I've seen a boxelder piece with that much red in it before. Very dramatic.

Neal,

I usually don't have much to say about most of the items posted on this forum, and I'll just keep that string going by saying .... WHAT NANCY SAID! :D

Very nice, like the shape and color. Will the red fade over time?

Steve S ekeps talking bout you, and it is nice to see why. Some guys spin to make lumpy things round, and a few , to make artful pieces. You are in the latter group. :D:D:D

Your HF reminds me of a piece of fruit from some imaginery tree. Simply beautiful!
