In the Dust Collector test article in March 08 Wood Magazine, the bag version of the Penn State (DC2000B) did nearly as well as the top rated Grizzly G1029Z and Delta 50-760. The use of a cartridge filter might bring it above those two. With the 1 micron bags (top and bottom), it showed a maximum airflow of about 822 cfm with static pressure loss of 1.55 inches using 6" ducts. This gradually decreased to about 770 cfm with SP loss of 3 inches and 700 cfm with SP loss of 4 inches water.

At that price, it might be nice to have a cartridge filter instead of a bag.

That is what I have in my shop and I have no complaints.
