Hitachi announces new joinery system- Makes the competition fall like
dominos

Joining has always been a slow, difficult process. Never again, thanks
to Hitachi's new ChopSTYX joining system. The system consists of the
ChopSTYX joiner and pre-fabricated, solid Beech, ChopSTYX tenons. The
ChopSTYX joiner, with its revolutionary varyable multiple cutting
method and simple indexing features makes flawless mortises every
single time. The ChopSTYX tenon is equally as impressive - it's 100%
recycleable from chopsticks and rotation proof when two or more
ChopSTYX tenons are used. ChopSTYX tenons come in five sizes, one
perfect for almost any application and are free with any order from
your local Asian carry-out. The system works on everything from face
frames and workpieces as small as 1" x 5/8", to large projects and
heavy furniture.

Seriously, I have a gross of chopsticks from a defunct take out place, I've always thought they were destined for a higher purpose....

There is a lot of unanswered question here....

Will the joints be as strong as a Domino?
Will the cost be as high as the Domino?
Will they be as fast as a DowelMax.
I really don't see how they could be better then a good old mortise and tenon joint.

But the biggest question of them all will they deliver, and does it come in a little white box?

This is no BS, I read that the billions of people in China are going through so many chopsticks that it's finally raised concern about the amount of wood. Read they are trying to go to re-usable materials.

Hang on to those chopsticks, they might be worth something.
