Score! Wood and tool gloat (kinda)

Cleaning out stuff stored in the rafters of my garage since we moved in last fall. Along with finding a lot of firewood, I found about a half sheet of really nice 1/4" oak ply and nearly 25 feet of the original oak baseboard found throughout most of my house. It's a bit dirty, but nothing a little cleaning/sanding/finishing won't fix.

Then, I got a call back from an ad I found on craigslist. Just bought a brand new Black & Decker miter saw for $35! It's not a top of the line tool, but for $35 you can hardly go wrong. Good day for the Hemsath shop.

Isn't it great when you find stuff like this. Extra baseboard will always come in handy. We have a house built in 1917 and I too found some original, baseboard up in the rafters, which is great because I needed a 6" section to replace a piece that was removed at some point.

Nice score on the Mitre Saw and plywood also.
