Sometimes you just happen on things by accident, this idea turned our rather well.

Problem - Vacuming the chips when drilling especially with forstner bits, chips go all over.

Solution - A plastic glass from the local convience store.

Just cut the top edge off and then cut one side, spread apart and slip over dust hose, the tension holds it there. The swirling of the vacum picks up all the swarf from the bit inside the containment.

Oh heck that's a dang nifty one ... love it. The most brilliant things are the simplest. Thanks, Harry!

Hey Harry,

I didn't know you outfitted a laser on one of your braces! :D

Harry, that's one of the best "shop tips" I've seen. It's cheap, easy and effective! Thanks for sharing. Yes, you need to send it into one of the WWing publications. I'm sure it's a winner.

I sent the tip to Wood Magazine, I guess it wasn't even worth mentioning in their Mag. I have sent them several tips thru the years, none ever made it into the Mag. Duh

Harry,
We appreciate your tips even if Wood Mag doesn't. Keep them coming and thank you.
