Anyone know where I can find any info on a old radial arm saw from the sixties? its an Dewalt/Black-n-Decker model #11513.
My boss and plant manager have ask me to refurbish it and make a safety guard similar to the one you see at the big box stores, first the saw needs some TLC and tuning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't recognize that model #, but you might be able to find a similar machine in the library at owwm.com. Wolfe Machinery, owwm.org and the Dewalt radial arm forum @ Delphi are possibilities for parts and manuals

Try Wolfe Machinery, they faxed me the wiring diagram and other info regarding my 1952 Dewalt GR, as well as supplying parts. When Dewalt RAS was sold, original saw bought the rights to make new machines and Wolfe bought the repair business including all the old manuals and wiring diagrams. Don't remember the name of the guy I spoke to but he was very helpful in my Dewalt RAS restoration.

I have a lot of old commerical woodworking equipment in my shop and I have found the members of "Old Wood-Working Machines" to be a lot of help, link pasted below:

http://www.owwm.com/

Also the guys at Wolf Machinery are an awsome reference on those old saws, they have helped me many times over the years.

The link below may also be of some help w/ old DeWalt machines and finding old parts:

Good luck,
Mike

Charles, exactly where did you get that model number? Off of the base or motor?
