Hi guys. I've just finished adding a new subpanel and wiring the shop for 220v (yay) Also, now have A/C (super yay).:D

I'm converting my Laguna LT14 bandsaw from 110v to 220v single phase. I have the new 220v motor started and I've rewired the motor itself. My question is how do I wire up the motor starter? Laguna sent me a schematic which is the lamest thing I've ever seen. They have lines on the diagram going into nameless unlabeled circles. Someone hand wrote some color labels on wires that don't match the color of the wire I have.

Are magnetic motor startes wired up in a standard way? From what I've been able to find so far I think it should be hooked up like this:

Power source red -> 1L1
Power source black -> 5L3
Power source ground -> motor ground
Motor L1 -> 2T1
Motor L2 -> 6T3

Any help would be apprececiated!

Here's the diagram. I think it's safe to assume the circle on the bottom left is the power plug and the ellipse on the bottom right is the motor. Except my motor only has two wires and a ground.

What a POS. Can you post clear pictures of the "guts" of the thing?

Not sure if this will help much. The terminals on the starter do match the labels on the diagram.
