Any ideas on how I may loosen JB Weld off of wood handles thats attached to a draw face? The weld is in the screw holes and a little on back of handles.
Think hair dryer may work or is ti risky to bubble the lacquer?

I've removed my fair share of JB off of plumbing (copper, black pipe, even a boiler) with a small flat blade screwdriver and a well placed tap w/ a hammer. I am not so sure this would be the best approach in this application, however.

I googled it. It doesnt look good. I saw recommendations of saws, chisels an dremels. Or heat to 600 degrees plus!!!!

Thanks

Chisel, sandpaper and then re-finish.

A hair dryer won't touch it. I have used a propane torch on epoxy. Well, not on wood...
I expect all you can do is drill the hole and sand the knob. It will be tough to drill the hole; it will want to skid off the epoxy into the neighboring wood; use a drill press, clamps, and go real slow.
