I haven't had time to do much lately except stop by to peek at the pictures. I did get enough time to finish this bowl (a gift for a wood source). It's nothing much, but I was proud of the curve.

4 tall x 5.5 wide x 1/4 thick, anitque oil and buffed (just got my Beall system)

Mike,
Nice curve indeed and very nice touch on the rim. Hope your wood source likes it and will keep it coming.

Wow, that's a nice one. Before reading the dimensions I would have guessed it was larger. It has that nice Hawaiian calabash form.

A lot! I've gone through the house trying to find more things to buff! I actually had a bowl I had done for the mail carrier (she who delivers all that ebay stuff) where I wasn't very happy with the finish. It was poly and I thought I would have to re-sand. Buffed her up and it looks (and feels) great! Gave it to her yesterday and she was thrilled.
