Hello good people of the creek I come to you with a question again.

I have an order to make an acrylic small sign 8 inch by 3 inch. It has to be thick as possible anybody knows where I can buy a small-thick sheet(I found only 12" by 12" ones and they are at a hefty $75 price).

Thank

It would be helpful if we knew where you were. Around here we have several places where you can walk in and have a piece cut to size, probably under $10 for that size in 1/2". Tap Plastics, Acrylic Concepts, Laird Plastics, GE Plastics to name a few.

If you have to order online and have it shipped try here, 12x12 1/2" is $10.50

I saw Lexan/Plexiglas at Lowes which was reasonable here in Texas. Hope that helps.

There have to be many local suppliers there. Just look under Plastics in the yellow pages.

try McMasterCarr, their west coast headquarters is in LA.
12x12x1 = 40 bucks not too bad. They offer up to 4" thick.
