I would also look at the new Trend Airshield Pro. I purchased this unit and I like it much more than my original Trend respirator. I also bought it from the same place http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/product/trend-airshield-pro.html. I do use mine a lot so I was able to justify the increased expense.

Harvey I bought mine from the same place. Cheapest I have found. I use mine daily when turning or sanding.

what are the major differences in the new and old style trend airsheilds, it looks like the new one draws the air form behind you instead of in front????

Charlie - I just received mine last week, it took nearly 3 weeks. After being knocked down a month ago from a very severe allergic reaction to saw dust and mold, I nearly called an ambulance, it's worth every penny and the wait!!!

I ordered mine from the same folks that the others recommended, I was told they've been backordered since Christmas.
