I can't seem to find any data on the respirator filter that is most suited for Cyanoacrylates (super glues) I don't think a basic Organic vapor filter is right, as I have been using one in my 3M 7500, but I still get headaches from its use.

MSDS doesn't offer much detailed info on filter type, either does a few safety companies I called, who sell the masks...

Any suggestions? TYIA

I think the best solution to using CA type glues, is well ventilated areas. Most people using the stuff use a small fan to keep the work area fume free.

I agree, move the air........but it causes another problem...even slight air movement makes the glue dry even faster....

For the nasty stuff we use 6006 (http://www3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/safety/occ_health_safety/node_GSSJ3W4RVVgs/root_GST1T4S9TCgv/vroot_5SDD44F7DZge/bgel_7K05TT6X83bl/gvel_4PV4LH4X9Kgl/theme_us_ohes_3_0/command_AbcPageHandler/output_html) cartridges (Multi Gas/Vapor)...not sure how they will do with CA but they are better than the 6001 filters.

Chris, I just ordered a few... of course they don't mention cyana's, but its worth a try, as I don't think the Organec filters are effective for this glue... Thanks
