What might be a reasonable price on this jointer, 12in" by 84in" long bed jointer by CKM
Unsure of condition and age except for photo. I could only find one web link to a reseller for this chinese tool, but no price. Thx for any info.

looks to be a knockoff of the Delta type jointers. Very generally speaking without really knowing anything about this particular machine, I'd say anything under $1300 would be a fair deal. If it's in really good condition maybe as high as $2k, but for a no name machine I don't think I'd want to go higher than that.

I was in WW Source yesterday they have the Jet combo jointer/planer 12" for $1800 plus 15% off this weekend (big sale) so a used single purpose, off brand name is probably worth $750-$800. Used always seems to sell for 1/2 of new, off brands with unknown part availability a little under 1/2 of new.:(

Bruce, can you give a link or name of that WW source you mentioned please? $1800 + 15% discount is $1530. That's a heck of a good deal on that Jet J/P...

Grant I was in Tucson Woodworkers Source yesterday when the manager told me of the big weekend sale. He told me all equipment (except Festool) would be 15% off and Thursday the Festool rep would be in. The J/P may have been $1895. not $1800, I'll check again Thursday and let you know for sure. Sorry I only had time for a quick walk around yesterday. I will repost the info after I check it out Thursday.
