Emilio Benericetti, is a fantastic cook who offered a giant omelette for 12 persons. He cut this ostrich egg with the Dremel tool. After cleaning it he tuned two rings which fit one in another as the liaison between the box and the lid.
The wood is walnut, the finish a mix of beeswax and carnauba

Bernie. It seems delicate, but the real difficulty are to turn the two rings. To open the egg, as the shell is rather thick, you go progressively with the dremel around the “equator” When on this point the shell is thin enough you open it as a normal egg. The only precaution to be taken is to have a large enough basin to collect this giant egg.
