I just finished setting up my Grizzly G0564 oscillating edge sander and thought I would share some of my initial impressions.
Here is how it was packaged:

Grizzly shipped it via Overnight (UPS Freight) to a terminal over in Decatur. I picked it up at the terminal because I did not what a tractor trailer in my driveway. I did not find any damage to the shipment. I think Grizzly did a good job of packaging, although I could see where the "open" sides could allow damage to be caused by forktruck forks. I used to work in a shipping department and have seen how easy it is for forks to extend past a pallet and cause damage to the items on another pallet.
This is a shot after removing the outer crating:

This machine comes 95% assembled. The only things that have to be assembled are the spindle table, dust hoods, stop bar, and cord plug. The fit and finish are very good (even better than my G0490), which is probably a result of being a Taiwanese as opposed to a Chinese product. The manual is clear and complete.
Here is a shot of the fully assembled and operational unit:

I put the machine on the ShopFox extra heavy mobile base sold by Grizzly even though I probably will not move this very often. I have not had a chance to use it much yet but the machine runs quite and smooth, belt tracking was dead on. I will post a follow-up after I have had a chance to use it more.
