I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on one of these this week. Can't decide what to do.
Does anyone have either one?

Hey Glen, which one did you go for? I am looking at the G9983. Looks like a lot of machine for the $. Does it have enough power? How many amps does it draw?

I ended up getting the Shop Fox W1737 37" wide belt. It has really worked great so far. I found a local dealer that had it on display for 2 years. I got it for $7000. I guess you could call it a gloat.

Wow! Wish I had the space and $$ for that one. I am still not sure if I have the room for the open end one.
One of my primary concerns about the open end is if I will be able to sand flat panel doors (essentially frames, with only one
style hitting the conveyor - even with the support bar extended). This also applies to raised panel doors with recessed back on conveyor. I am not concerned about solid material overhanging and being flipped. Was hoping some of you research might help.
Thanks,
Nathan
