I guess this is a mixture gloat and concern. I recently became the proud owner of a TS75, CT22, MFT800, ETS 150/3 :). Well I have managed to make a potato chip out of my guide rail. I've been storing it upright on the wall. Well today my son knocked over a good bit of stuff and well you get the picture. How do you store your guide rails to protect them from the eventual accidents.

I hang them on the wall. There's a spot behind a door which is so narrow that it isn't good for much anything else, and it fits the guides nicely.

Yup - hanging on a wall.

I keep the box they came in and store them in a corner.

The shorter ones hang on a screw on the wall. The long one goes in my lumber rack.

Wall hanger here too. Did anyone else notice that the hole is perfectly placed so they hang straight? But if you put the connectors in them and hang them with the connectors at the bottom, they hang crooked. Put the connectors at the top and they hang straight. It doesn't matter, but I found it funny.

When I built my sharpening center I built storage for my Festool items. I built a drawer for holding my guide rails & MFS rails up to 75" long. For the longer rails I have them in the boxes, setting against a wall with a chain around them so they cannot fall over.

I hang mine (two of them) on the wall like everyone else. My TS55 is kept in a cabinet but the rails hang to the side of the cabinet on the wall.
