I am considering purchasing a used 14" Busy Bee BS for doing tight curves but the website seems to indicate hat 3/8" is the smallest blade this model will accept. Is this correct? I thought a 14" BS would accept any blade width UP TO a 1/2"?

I suspect that you are seeing a typo, since there isn't a whole lot of room between 3/8"and 3/4". ( only a 1/2" blade )
Perhaps they meant to say 1/8" instead of 3/8"?
I would give then a call.
