Almost made decision on BS

I asked a question here the other day about a 17-18 inch bs and have almost decided on the Jet. Has anyone who has one of the new Jet models (1&3/4 hp or 3hp) had problems with it or regrets the purchase? I pretty much ruled out the GO513X2 because of the 16 inch to left of blade capacity. The GO514X2 was ruled out because it's just to tall to get into my basement. I decided against the Steel City because of the newness of the company (few dealers around this area, uncertainty of where the company will be down the road) Any further insight will be appreciated.

Jim, if you can swing it, go for the 3hp. One of the things I really like about my MM16 is the power...any feed speed adjustments I make are strictly for surface quality, not to accommodate the motor, no matter how "high" the cut happens to be.
