I just got a new Grizzly cabinet saw and am in the middle of my first big project with it; a cherry china cabinet.

Two issues have come up, and I am wondering if they mean the saw is misadjusted.

1) On long cuts with wide panels I have to be very careful or it pulls away from the fence and ruins the cut. I have had to make the cabinet 1/8" less deep to accomodate two ruined pieces.
It doesn't happen with narrow pieces, and I can pretty much prevent it by using a finger board.
But my old contractors saw never had this problem.

2) My contractors saw used to burn cherry on the cut piece, which made sense to me. The Grizzly burns the scrap. A big improverment over burning the cut piece, but is seems odd.

I am using a microjig splitter, just like I did on the old saw.
Any thoughts on what might be going on?

I think you need to make sure your fence is parallel to the blade, it could cause both problems

Your fence is angled away from the blade too much.

A few thousandths of an inch out of parallel, with the fence further away from the blade at the outfeed end is ideal.
