dado info needed

I have the delta dado kit 35-7670 and I am looking for the instructions that came with it. I called Delta customer service and they were unable to locate it. I am looking for the first page where it gives the required width and blade combo. Does anyone out there have this set that they could fax me the instructions.

Not sure what info you are looking for. If you want to know the width a certain blade and chipper combo will produce either assemble the dado with the chippers and measure it or calculate it.

Your set should have two outside blades, four 1/8" chippers and one 1/16" chipper.

The two outside blades together produce a 1/4" groove. Each chipper is either 1/16th or 1/8th inch. So to get a 1/2 dado, use the outside blades (1/4") and two 1/8" chippers (1/4") and you have 1/2" total.

Just be sure to assemble the set correctly with all the teeth pointing in the same direction. Put the chipper blade tips in the gullets of the outside blades and stagger the chippers.
