I own a small custom furniture shop and have a Woodmaster 718 running the 700S2 8" corregated knife head. The gibs that came with the head are varoius size small beveled pieces of steel that you use in combination to get roughly the right length gib based on the size knife you have in the head (kind of scary actually). I want to get better gibs made using quality gib stock similiar to what the brand name industrial cutterheads use. Does anyone know where I can get gib stock of that type so I can make various length matched sets of gibs for this head?

James I too have a woodmaster 18" that I just purchased (used) .. How do tell what cutter head I have and will the plain and corrigated knives interchange?

Ask for Fred or Jack

Thats who makes my cutters.
I'm sure they will sell you just the gib stock.
