A lady I know asked me to turn a small bowl from a cherry tree that had been on the farm where she grew up. It had gotten damaged in a storm and she remembered I did some turning. She only had a small piece, so I made her this bowl to put change in. She wants to sit it on her Grandfather's writing desk that she inherited. She's trying to keep some memorable items all close to look at. I put her Grandfather's name on the bottom, so people would know where it came from. It's 4" across and 3" deep. I used some Hutt's Crystal Coat on it, since I'd been turning pens and this was handy. She loves it and says she'll have some more work for me from friends. Thanks for looking.
