The grain does line up nice. We just were not paying attention when the photo's were taken

The box is 3.5" x 4".5"

Great looking box Dan. I would have made the finial more delicate but for a first it looks pretty good. A good DVD which I just got is by Cindy Drozda on her finials on boxes.

Nice work Dan! Great colors, nice detail work and you even turned a finial - cool! Keep turning - it gets easier with doing!

I was wondering if by putting the flocking inside the box, does this hurt the sale value, short turm, long turm.
What are some of your thoughts ?

The wood is Pine, it is turned from a 4x4 beam from an old barn.
