These Safety Goggles work well with my respirator, they fit over the large nose hump of the respirator. The elastic band is the perfect means to keep the goggles from falling off when looking downward. When using regular safety glasses, the large nose hump on the respirator pushes the lenses forward a bit, preventing the rear of the glasses from getting a good hook around your ears, so they are always loose.

When I do close work, I need 2 diopters of correction. It would be ideal if the correction was available in a pair of goggles such as these. Does anyone know if these type goggles come in bifocal?

Before I got real 2-diopter safety glasses (not goggles, though), I glued reading glass lenses inside of a pair of goggles. Worked great, and I still use them when goggles are called for. You can adjust the position to be "always-on" or near the bottom to function like bifocals.

The ingenuity of ww's never ceases to amazing me.... that is a very clever idea Gary... I have plenty of small thin cheaters that would fit easily. I'll just bust em apart and crazy glue em in. They are only a few bucks each.... If I can't find an official pair, this might suffice!

You can buy stick-on bifocal lenses. They're intended to stick on safety glasses. Some woodworking catalogs offer them. Here's an example --

Jamie, thanks for that link...they also had the bifocal safety glasses I like as my original source no longer carries them.
