Pedestal Bowl

Now this is Cherry. The last bowl I put up was actually Maple...DOH. Any way, this has a little pedestal... kinda like a fruit bowl of sorts. I had different plans for this when I started it... but it took over and said , "Nope, this is what I will be."

Jon - nice looking fruit bowl! I like the form, detail work and your photos show off the product. Any idea of size on this one? Looks like it could be 12" or even a 16" - just curious. Nice work!

Hey Tom,

Heh heh, on the pens. But hey, I can sell them fairly easy which allows me to buy more fun stuff. (or the boys get the fun money...) I would like to add some bowls to my little shows I do.

By the way, that is the cherry you gave me. I might just take you up on sometime this week. Maybe even a lesson you could give. Depends on how well I get done with the study I am writing.
