Darrell

Took an opportunity to go back to the website and look at some of your work. You are an artist!! The style and quality of work is very impressive. I am not an A&C fan, but certainly can appreciate the artistry in design and the meticulous execution of details. Very good job on the website, as well.

Humm maybe I'm stupid but I could not see / view any "shop" photo's.

I did see some excellent work , and progress photos , but none that where dedicated to showing your shop.

Nice web site BTW and great work.

What do the weekend classes run , dollar wise, not that our dollar is worth much these days , but that's another storey.

Edited to add , I did a Google earth search for your address , so your in west Seattle if I did it right , or it worked right , in a residential neighborhood , is that correct?

You might not have the plug-in needed to view the shop.

Hey I'm "plugged in" ,,,,,,to the wall outlet :D Hehhehe, maybe not but I could / can view the rest of his website . It would seem odd that just the shop would be a different attachment / plug in

But you could be right , if your able to see photos directly from the link Darrell provided.

Darrell; great picture. I always like to look at others shops. It looks like your floor is concrete (painted w/ epoxy?) and no mats by machines. Hard on your feet?

Definitely a production grade shop. Very nice indeed. I've seen one multi router but never two in the same room with pneumatic hookup to boot. Looks like a pretty serious shop to me.

Yeah, I'd be grinning ear to ear too if my shop were half as well appointed.

Well done!

Hi Paul - I am sort of in West Seattle - actually the city limits is across the street. I am in unincorporated KingCounty where the zoning is friendlier to operating a shop. Our lot is quite large by city standards - a little over 1/3 of an acre – which gives plenty of space for a 2,500 sq foot shop.
I’m not sure what my weekend details classes are running – somewhere between $275 - $300 I guess. I don’t give classes at the new shop only at William NG’s (http://www.wnwoodworks.com/)in Anaheim and The Ports Townsend Woodworking School (http://www.ptwoodschool.com/Home.html)(Jim Tolpin).

Yes - all the shop is concrete and more than half of that is painted with epoxy.
I have been working on concrete for 35 years - it can be hard on the feet - I learned a long time ago to buy good comfortable shoes.

The house it took me to had a white -ish roof and a datached building at the end of gravel driveway.

Here's the link type in your address and see if it's the same place.

I think if you download Quicktime (free) you will be able to "play" the 360 view of the shop. Go to this link http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

I got on our other computer , nice shop , I agree about emptying those dust collection bags , saves floor space , but I'd know I'd dump those right in my lap , or some other such disaster:D
