I have imported the above saw however the plain bearing underneath the table has slipped out of the casting. The bearing provides additional support for one of the rails. Although I'm in the UK this is a US model (Makitas are twice the price overhere). The 1013's I've seen before in the UK have a different arrangement for supporting the rail.
Should the bearing be held in place wilth Loctite (it's a fairly loose fit), I wondered if the casting has been machined out too far and the bearing was supposed to be a press fit, or is a simple retaining clip utilised?
Makita parts listings only show the complete turntable...no details are given for this arrangement.
